Our examination system is designed to assess students’ knowledge, skills, and overall development fairly and comprehensively. It balances academic evaluation with continuous assessment to encourage learning and growth.
Formative Assessment (FA):
Conducted throughout the term.
Includes class tests, quizzes, assignments, oral tests, and project work.
Focuses on understanding, creativity, and participation.
Summative Assessment (SA):
Conducted at the end of each term/semester.
Covers the complete syllabus of the term.
Includes written exams, practical exams (for Science/Computer), and viva (oral).
Play – Grade 2: Continuous assessment with term-end evaluations.
Grades 3 – 5: Two main exams per year (Half-Yearly & Annual), plus periodic tests.
Grades 6 – 10: Three-term system with Periodic Tests, Half-Yearly Exams, and Final Exams.
Grades are given based on performance in both formative and summative assessments.
